11. Tóm tắt các kết quả mới của luận án:

Kết quả phân tích đã xác định bốn mô thức tái hiện ẩm thực đường phố Việt Nam: như một trải nghiệm cảm giác, như ẩm thực thường nhật gắn với truyền thống, như một hình thức thủ công mang tính nghệ nhân và như một thử thách ẩm thực. Các cách thể hiện này được kiến tạo thông qua sự phối hợp đa phương thức linh hoạt, trong đó ý nghĩa thường được hình thành từ sự kết hợp giữa mô tả ngôn ngữ, khuôn hình thị giác cận cảnh và các dấu hiệu cận ngôn khi có mặt. Kết quả xổ số hôm nay miền nam cũng cho thấy cận ngôn không phải lúc nào cũng đóng vai trò thiết yếu, bởi sự mạch lạc vẫn có thể được tạo lập thông qua sự liên kết nội tại của từng phương thức mà không nhất thiết dựa vào tương tác liên phương thức.

Sự tương tác với người xem được kiến tạo thông qua năm cơ chế đa phương thức: khơi gợi sự tham gia, thiết lập niềm tin, cung cấp cơ sở lý giải mang tính lý tính, thúc đẩy chuyển hóa cảm xúc và kiến tạo dòng chảy tự sự. Phân tích cho thấy sự gắn kết cảm xúc không nhất thiết phụ thuộc vào ngôn ngữ lời nói, bởi các phản ứng thị giác và hành vi cơ thể có thể truyền tải hiệu quả sự đánh giá. xổ số hôm nay miền nam cũng chỉ ra rằng các phương thức có thể đôi khi không đồng nhất, khi những bình luận giàu tính biểu cảm được thể hiện bằng giọng điệu trung tính nhằm duy trì tính chuyên nghiệp và độ tin cậy của người đánh giá. Các mô thức này minh họa cách những người đánh giá điều phối các phương thức để nuôi dưỡng mối quan hệ cận xã hội, tạo sự chờ đợi về mặt tự sự, tăng khả năng tiếp cận nhận thức và tạo cộng hưởng cảm xúc với người xem.

xổ số hôm nay miền nam tiếp tục cho thấy các hình thức thể hiện và cơ chế gắn kết đa phương thức cùng nhau kiến tạo bốn loại bản sắc của ẩm thực đường phố Việt Nam: bản sắc cộng đồng, bản sắc đặc thù, bản sắc chức năng và bản sắc gắn với lối sống. Thông qua phân tích đa phương thức có hệ thống, dựa trên sự điều chỉnh khung bản sắc của van Leeuwen (2022) và chu trình văn hóa của Hall (2013), ẩm thực đường phố được định vị không chỉ như một nét văn hóa thường nhật và một sản phẩm được xã hội công nhận, mà còn như một đối tượng mang tính đặc thù, một thực thể có tính tương tác – trình diễn, và một trải nghiệm với lối sống trong du lịch ẩm thực toàn cầu với sự tham gia của truyền thông số. Các bản sắc được tích lũy xuyên suốt các cảnh quay và giao thoa trong từng khoảnh khắc cụ thể, qua đó cho thấy ẩm thực đường phố Việt Nam vận hành như một biểu tượng văn hóa đa tầng, đồng thời mang tính truyền thống, nghệ nhân, trải nghiệm trong không gian toàn cầu.

Kết quả xổ số hôm nay miền nam cho thấy sự thể hiện ẩm thực đường phố Việt Nam trên YouTube không chỉ dừng lại ở việc phản ánh các hoạt động ẩm thực, mà còn chủ động kiến tạo ý nghĩa văn hóa, giá trị và bản sắc cho khán giả toàn cầu. Bên cạnh đó, các xổ số hôm nay miền nam tương lai có thể tích hợp các phương pháp tiếp nhận của khán giả, chẳng hạn như phân tích diễn ngôn bình luận, khảo sát hoặc phỏng vấn, nhằm đối chiếu và làm rõ cách người xem diễn giải, ghi nhận hoặc phản kháng các bản sắc được kiến tạo trong video đánh giá ẩm thực.

11. Summary of the new findings of the thesis:

The analysis identified four recurring representational patterns: Vietnamese street food as a sensory experience, as everyday cuisine rooted in tradition, as artisanal craft and as a culinary challenge. These representations emerge through flexible multimodal orchestration, with meaning frequently produced through the convergence of verbal descriptions, close-up visual framing and paralinguistic cues when available. At the same time, the findings show that paralanguage is not always necessary, as coherent representations can also be achieved through intrasemiotic organization within verbal sequencing or visual detailing, without reliance on cross-modal interaction.

Viewer engagement was found to be generated through five multimodal mechanisms: eliciting involvement, establishing trust, providing rational justification, facilitating affective conversion and constructing narrative flow. The analysis demonstrates that affective engagement does not necessarily depend on verbal language, as visual reactions and embodied responses can effectively communicate evaluation. It also reveals that modes may temporarily diverge when expressive verbal commentary is delivered with a neutral vocal tone in order to maintain reviewer credibility and professionalism. These patterns illustrate how reviewers strategically orchestrate modes to cultivate parasocial intimacy, narrative anticipation, cognitive accessibility and emotional resonance.

The study further shows that multimodal representations and engagement mechanisms jointly construct four dimensions of Vietnamese street food identity: communal, particularized, functional, and lifestyle identities. Through systematic multimodal analysis informed by adapted versions of van Leeuwen’s (2022) identity framework and Hall’s (2013) circuit of culture, street food is positioned not only as an everyday cultural practice and socially validated artifact, but also as a distinctive sensory object, an interactional and performative entity, and a lifestyle-linked experience embedded in global food tourism and digital participation. Identity meanings are shown to accumulate across scenes and intersect within individual moments, demonstrating that Vietnamese street food functions as a layered cultural symbol that is simultaneously traditional, artisanal, experiential and globally mediated.

The findings of this study show that YouTube representations of Vietnamese street food do not merely document food practices but actively construct cultural meaning, value and identity for global audiences. By demonstrating how verbal, visual and paralinguistic resources are flexibly orchestrated, the study suggests that appreciation and authenticity are produced through multimodal choices rather than residing inherently in the food itself. The study also highlights YouTube as an influential multimodal site where everyday culinary practices are recontextualized into culturally resonant narratives for global audiences, thereby potentially positioning Vietnamese street food as a cultural ambassador within contemporary digital tourism and food discourse.

12. Practical applicability:

This study offers a number of important implications.

Practically, the findings have clear relevance for content creators, tourism marketers and cultural policymakers. The study identifies specific multimodal strategies such as direct address, sensory intensification, expert positioning, and narrative pacing, that effectively foster trust, reduce apprehension toward unfamiliar foods and construct cultural authenticity. For Vietnam’s tourism and culinary promotion, the study provides evidence-based insights into how street food is both multimodally and discursively framed for international audiences, supporting the strategic use of influencer-generated video content in line with national tourism policies. More broadly, the findings underscore YouTube’s role as a mediating space where everyday practices are transformed into globally circulating cultural narratives.

Pedagogically, the findings also hold implications for language, media and communication studies. The multimodal orchestration framework and the identity-analytic procedure developed in this research can support classroom activities that teach students to analyze meaning-making in digital media, particularly in genres that combine narrative, evaluation and cultural representation. This is increasingly relevant as students engage with video-based and creator-driven platforms where multimodal literacy is essential.

13. Further research directions:

Several directions for future research are recommended.

Future studies could adopt a comparative design to examine Vietnamese street food alongside other national cuisines or compare representations across platforms such as YouTube, TikTok and Instagram. This would illuminate how platform affordances and constraints shape multimodal identity construction.

Another possibility is to expand the linguistic scope to include Vietnamese-language or bilingual food review videos would allow researchers to compare inward-facing and outward-facing culinary representations and explore how national identity is negotiated differently for domestic versus international audiences.

In addition, research could incorporate audience reception methods such as comment discourse analysis, surveys, or interviews, to triangulate how viewers interpret, negotiate or resist the identities constructed in food review videos.

Finally, longitudinal research could examine how multimodal representations of Vietnamese street food evolve over time, particularly in relation to tourism development, globalization or platform algorithm changes.
